Teach Cheoil (former Church of Ireland building), Grace Street, Kilrush,
County Clare
Our second lecture will be about deserters from the British Army in
Clare during the War of Independence. Several of these were killed by
the IRA and secretly buried in bogs in West Clare.
The lecture will be given by Pádraig Óg Ó Ruairc. Pádraig has done
extensive research on the War of Independence in County Clare.
