CLARE CHATTER: New Cuimhneamh an Chláir series on Clare FM's

Over the next six weeks FROM 21ST SEPT., Clare FM will host a special new series, featuring audio samples from the archive of Cuimhneamh an Chláir, the Clare Oral History and Folklore Group.   The series will be broadcast each Wednesday night immediately after the 8.00pm News on Paula Carroll's The West Wind (7.00pm – 9.00pm).  Each week, Cuairteoirí from Cuimhneamh an Chláir will join Paula, with a selection of memories from their interviews with some of Clare's oldest citizens.  Memories will include the West Clare Railway, killing the pig, house dances, turf boats, the Shannon Scheme and much more.

The series begins this Wednesday September 21st after the 8.00pm News.
